A continuation of our 2017 conversation, Does the Dance Field Make Room for Dancer-Parents? this conversation brings together a group of interdisciplinary artist-parents, dancers, organizers and children to talk about how the field can provide support through resource sharing and providing supportive environments and programs for artist parents and children alike. Re-imagining supportive community networks tailored to artists and sharing thoughts on the work and expectations of child-rearing, All Together Now: Artist-Parent Community Meet-up, hopes to create a recurring conversation focused on the experiences and needs of artist-parents and their children.
